        Sonia Garcia is an artist and teacher working in the San Francisco Bay Area. She specializes in drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture and design. Her art experience includes organizing and curating the Tierra de Oro (Land of Gold) Art Exhibition. Her work has been exhibited in local art galleries including a solo show in the John F. Kennedy University, Works in Progress gallery. She currently teaches Introductory Art to high school students in Oakland, CA.
